Hot Updates:Four Die, Three Injured After Car Collides Head-On With Matatu In Machakos

Four people died Saturday night following a road accident at Masii, Machakos County.
Three of the victims died on the spot while the fourth one died on arrival at Machakos Level 5 Hospital where the injured were taken with serious injuries.
The three who died on the spot were two women and the driver of a Toyota Premio car that collided head-on with a matatu.
Bodies of the three were taken to Machakos Level 5 Hospital mortuary.
A relative of the deceased said his aunt and her daughter, together with her mother-in-law, died in the accident.
Mr Daniel Musembi said his aunt and her daughter, who were in the car, were coming from a funeral in Kitui when the accident occurred.
Two of the victims were the wife and daughter of Mumbuni Boys High School Principal Timothy Wambua.
Mwala OCPD Henry Kimathi confirmed the accident.
Mr Kimathi cautioned drivers to be careful on the stretch between Kaseve and Masii on the Machakos-Kitui road due to ongoing works.
"There are road works going on and the road is narrow.
"Drivers should be careful to avoid accidents, "said Mr Kimathi.
